Classic Homemade Toffee Squares

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

 

Instructions:

  2. Melt Butter and Sugar: In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the sugar and salt, and cook while stirring constantly until the mixture turns a light golden brown (around 5–7 minutes).
  3. Add Vanilla: Remove the mixture from the heat and quickly stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Spread Toffee: Pour the toffee mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
