I love making this in batches and using it all year long!
This Homemade Sweet Chili Pineapple Sauce is a vibrant, tangy, sweet, and slightly spicy condiment. The crushed pineapple adds a tropical sweetness and texture that pairs perfectly with the heat of the chili sauce, making it ideal for dipping, glazing, or marinades.

- Sweet Chili Sauce — 21 cup
- Soy Sauce — 2 tablespoons
- Rice Vinegar — 1 tablespoon
- Brown Sugar — 1 tablespoon
- Fresh Ginger (minced) — 1 teaspoon

- Red Pepper Flakes — 41 teaspoon (optional)
How To Make Homemade Sweet Chili Pineapple Sauce:
Step 1: Gather your Ingredients: Get out all your ingredients and make sure the crushed pineapple is completely drained.
Step 2: Combine everything in a Saucepan: Add the drained crushed pineapple, sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, fresh ginger, and minced garlic to a medium saucepan.
Step 3: Bring to a Simmer: Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it reaches a gentle boil (a simmer).
Step 4: Thicken the Sauce: Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Keep an eye on it and stir occasionally. The sauce is done when it has reduced and thickened to your desired consistency.
Step 5: Spice it up (optional): If you want a spicier sauce, add the red pepper flakes during the simmering process.
Step 6: Cool and Serve: Remove the saucepan from heat and let the sauce cool slightly before serving. The sauce will continue to thicken as it cools.
