This incredibly simple yet rich casserole features a creamy sausage and cream cheese filling baked between two layers of crescent roll dough.

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans (8 oz each) Crescent roll dough
  • 20 ounces Pork sausage crumbles (cooked)
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese, softened

 

How To Make 3-Ingredient Sausage Cream Cheese Casserole:

  • Step 1: Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375F (190C).
  • Step 2: Cook the Sausage: In a skillet, cook the approximately 20 ounces of pork sausage over medium heat, breaking it apart with a spatula until fully cooked and no longer pink. Drain any excess grease.
  • Step 3: Add Cream Cheese: Reduce the heat to low and add the 8 ounces of cream cheese to the skillet. Stir until the cream cheese is well incorporated, creating a creamy mixture. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Step 4: Prepare the Dough Base: Unroll one of the 2 cans of crescent roll dough and press it into a lightly greased 9×13 inch baking dish, covering the entire bottom surface. Pinch together any seams if necessary.
  • Step 5: Spread the Mixture: Evenly spread the sausage and cream cheese mixture over the crescent roll dough base in the baking dish.
