Loaded Cheesy Pocket Tacos
These cheesy, flavor-packed pocket tacos are a fun twist on classic tacos. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a crowd-pleasing party appetizer!

 

Ingredients

  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 12 (6-inch) tortillas

 

Instructions

1. Cook the Beef
Crumble the ground beef into a skillet and cook until fully browned. Drain any excess grease.

2. Season the Beef
Add the taco seasoning and cook according to package instructions.

3. Make the Cream Cheese Filling
In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Stir in the salsa until well combined.

4. Assemble the Tacos

Lay out a tortilla.
Spoon some cream cheese mixture in the center.
Top with seasoned beef.
Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
Fold the tortilla like a burrito to enclose the filling.

5. Bake the Tacos

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly spray a baking tray with cooking spray.
Place the rolled tacos on the tray and brush the tops with melted butter.
Bake for 15 minutes.

6. Serve & Enjoy
Let the tacos cool slightly, then serve immediately. Top with your favorites—lettuce, salsa, sour cream, olives, or extra cheese.
